Revue Starlight Re LIVE is the official video game of the anime Revue Starlight, which continues the story right where the anime left off. Despite this, you don't need to have seen the anime to enjoy the game since you'll gradually get to know all the characters as you progress.

The story of Revue Starlight Re LIVE stars Karen, Hikari and the rest of the Seisho Music Academy girls, all of whom are dubbed by the original voice actresses. The cast of characters will also be joined by over a dozen new girls, each with her own personality, abilities and voice. As you level them up, you'll also get to know them better, discover new details and even get new costumes.

The gameplay in Revue Starlight Re LIVE is very similar to that of other more action-oriented JRPGs: during your turn, you'll have to consider all your girls' strengths and weaknesses and choose who will attack. The default is that you will make each decision during the battles, but you can activate the automatic mode if you prefer. By doing this, you can focus exclusively on the story and its characters without worrying about anything else.

Revue Starlight Re LIVE is an excellent JRPG with a dynamic and fun combat system, tons of interesting characters, and outstanding visuals. Of course, the game will appeal more to fans of the original anime, but anyone, even those with no prior knowledge, can enjoy it.
